Time with Cogs: 12 years
In the office: I deal with all new client enquiries and set ups ensuring that your time with Cogs is as smooth as possible, including incorporations, structural advise and making sure your business books are fully compliant. My other main role is completing year-end accounts for sole trader, partnership and limited companies. Coinciding with this I complete tax returns and personal tax affairs.
On the side: I am a bit of a self-confessed nerd. When I’m not watching things like the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Star Wars I am playing board games and computer games. I try to keep myself as fit as I can so will be in the gym when I can.
Bookkeeping, VAT and PAYE
Time with Cogs: 15 years
In the office: I carry out some bookkeeping, reconciling as well as PAYE, CIS. I help clients to get their bookkeeping and processes as efficient as we can. I particularly enjoy training our lovely clients on Xero and Quickbooks.
On the side: I’m keen on exercising and eating healthily. When I read I read thrillers. I am an animal person who enjoys looking after my two rabbits and my two cats!

Time with Cogs: 10 years
In the office: I’m responsible for processing documents, bookkeeping and reconciling for multiple different businesses . I also have to oversea and submit CIS, PAYE, and VAT submissions, on a monthly/quarterly basis. I also train clients on Xero.
On the side: I ride horses and compete most weekends in showjumping competitions. I also enjoy walking my dogs and going out for dinner and socialising with friends.

Time with Cogs: 9 years
In the office: I am responsible for preparing and verifying your taxation documentation, ensuring these accurately reflect your financial position and completing your personal Self Assessment Tax Returns. I also deal with tax registrations, on-boarding and systems, ensuring you can access and review your tax accounts with HMRC and are properly set-up for future filings.
On the side: In my spare time I enjoy weight-lifting, gaming (generally strategy or war games) or catching up with television series.

In the office: I am responsible for records that come in to us and ongoing bookkeeping for clients including VAT and PAYE.
On the side: In my spare time, I enjoy catching up with my favourite television series, The Big Bang Theory. I am also a keen cook so I like to try and create new dishes, the best part is, of course, eating them!

In the office: I specialise in all areas of financial management for small businesses, combining deep expertise in taxation, tax planning, management reporting and financial systems with extensive operational experience. This unique blend of commercial and financial insight enables me to help business owners improve performance, navigate complexity and achieve sustainable growth. I also support clients through HMRC enquiries and investigations, while helping them bring clarity and direction to both their business and personal goals.
On the side: I enjoy socialising, travelling and exercise. I am also a bit of a geek! I tend to rotate various hobbies.

In the office: I am a qualified ACCA accountant working in the Accounts and Tax team finalising end of year accounts and tax returns. I am also involved in new client bookkeeping and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for our new clients.
On the side: I enjoy dancing, sewing, crafts, exercising and socialising when I'm not busy looking after my three children.

In the office: I am a trainee accountant dealing with various items in the office including processing and reconciling records as well as keeping up to date with bookkeeping at Cogs.
On the side: I spend my spare time with my family and friends. I enjoy ice skating, swimming and socialising.

Time with Cogs: 2 years
In the office: I sort, scan and process all records that come in to us from clients. I take pride in making sure it is all filed properly and organised so it is easy for our bookkeeping colleagues.
On the side: In my spare time I socialise with family and friends. I'm a very sporty person enjoy all sports but my passion is football and I play for a local ladies team in Maidenhead. I have a 7 year old son who keeps me on my toes too.
